Obama, You WON'T be chosen VP by Clinton.
Sat Nov 03, 2007 at 04:43:52 AM PDT
The more I watch the Primary campaign unfold, the more it seems to me that Obama isn't running for President anymore. It seems to me that he is running for the VP slot. Senator Clinton leaves herself wide open to charges of being Hypocritical and of talking out of both sides of her mouth, yet Obama does not rise to the call.
Like My New Signature?
Tue Oct 16, 2007 at 04:20:17 AM PDT
I'm just full of shit when it comes to posting Diaries. But since I doubt I'll actually keep this signature for long - I thought that I'd hilight that I had changed it.
And of course, this is a Diary about Clinton. I've seen a number of her supporters saying that there was nothing wrong with Clinton's statement and defending it - when I feel that her statement was clearly Sexist.
SO, I present my Signature for the time being:
"If you want something done, ask a busy White Person."
Whatcha think?
EDIT: for those who hadn't heard, Clinton made this comment, "If you want something done, ask a busy woman to do it." during a presentation in Iowa last week.
EDIT(2): I went ahead and modified my Signature. I had planned on leaving it for a day or two - but I hope that my point was made. People may not agree with me that her comment was sexist; but I don't feel it is appropriate to tell sexist jokes (if you want to call it a joke) while campaigning for the Presidency.
When was the last time that YOU were randomly Polled?
Sun Oct 14, 2007 at 09:58:13 AM PDT
Someone asked it in a response.. and I gave it a bit of thought and it occured to me that I've NEVER been polled on Politics.
So, how about it, When was the last time that YOU were polled. This diary sux in content - but I'm interested in seeing what people have to say on the matter.
Keep in mind for the Poll - I am talking about Random sampling. Not logging onto DailyKOS and answering someone's stupid Poll (like this one).. Not logging onto MSNBC and voting on their Poll - not getting polled by a Student Organization. I'm reffering to the random phone call Polling done by national Pollsters. I'm also only reffering to Presidential Elections and Primaries.
EDIT: I realized shortly after posting that I would have been better served by seperating NH/IA/SC/NV voters for the first two options... because of COURSE pollsters are going to concentrate more on the first states.
Ok Gore Supporters...
Fri Oct 12, 2007 at 04:19:41 AM PDT
It's your turn.
I have written Diaries for Clinton, Obama, and Edwards supporters - now it is your turn. Who would Gore choose as VP IF he were to jump in ANDIF he were to get the nomination..?
Before I give my thoughts on this question - I want to first discuss my thoughts on his actually getting into the Race; below the fold...
I have a Question for Obama. [Updated]
Wed Sep 26, 2007 at 06:57:55 PM PDT
First off, I have been an Obama supporter. I sent Obama $100 today. I have read his book "Dreams from my Father". I talk to my neighbors about Obama. I even changed my voter Registration to "Obama for 2008". So yes, I feel as though I am an Obama supporter.
But I have a Question: Barack Obama - Why did you not vote today on Iran, and if you had voted: what would the vote have been? Yea? Nay? Abstain?
Yes, this isn't much of a Diary - but it's a question I have. I could email the question, but by making it a publically asked question, it may get additional weight from others who want the answers - and it also allows anyone who finds a statement by Obama to chime in. I'll gladly delete the Diary if the answer has already been incorporated into a Diary, but for the moment - I'd like to know this answer.
UPDATE below the fold.
Time to Register!
Mon Sep 17, 2007 at 12:23:32 AM PDT
Ok for those who haven't registered to vote, Time to Register is probably now.. just to make sure that all the paperwork is squared away in plenty of time to hit the boxes so that our voice can be heard as to which of the potential nominees we preffer.
Ok, that's my plug - but what I really want to talk about is below the fold: What Party are you gonna be Registered as?
Is DailyKOS accepting money from Senator Clinton?
Fri Sep 14, 2007 at 08:29:19 PM PDT
And more importantly, if he is - does the community feel that this could be a conflict of interest? I was reading through a Diary http://www.dailykos.com/...
And most of the posters were dismissing the guy as a Troll - But I was less certain, so I went back and found a bunch of Accusations that KOS is accepting a fair ammount of money from Senator Clinton. Whoa, that caught me off guard.. So I decided to chase down this guy's links and see where he is getting this information from. There is an article HERE http://liberalvaluesblog.com/... Which discusses the issue.
Which is Worse? Liberal, or Conservative prejudice?
Mon Sep 10, 2007 at 06:11:59 PM PDT
So which is it? Which gives the country a worse image abroad?
A "liberal" who claims that Republicans are hypocritical prejudiced red-necks or a "Conservative" who openly bashes a segment of society?
What to do about Iraq?
Fri Sep 07, 2007 at 02:17:20 PM PDT
Ok Every day there is a new Diary, new news story, new casualties, new bombing, and of course - the daily reassurances from our fearless leader that everything is going according to the plan. But what do we want our leaders to do?
This is a short Diary, I provide no facts, no links, no pretty pictures, or even any news footage. Infact the only thing I provide is a Poll.
So, what would you want your Senator to propose/vote for?
Open Political Thread

This thread is aimed at my just spouting out thoughts on recent political events, with no specific ordering or consistant theme. Chime in on any of the topics - or discuss what politial events have caught your attention lately.
Ok Edwards Supporters...
Tue Sep 04, 2007 at 12:14:07 PM PDT
It's your turn. Just as I did for Clinton and for Obama, I am asking who you think Edward's will choose as a running mate. This is primarily for Edwards supporters, though anyone can chime in, of course.
Okay Obama supporters...
Mon Sep 03, 2007 at 01:29:52 PM PDT
Just like yesterday: Who's gonna be the VP, only this time the question is if Obama gets the nod from Democrats - who will be chosen to run as the VP?
This is primarily for Obama supporters, but anyone is welcome to comment, of course.
Yesterday's was pretty civil with some interesting names brought up, for interesting reasons. I hope today's goes as smoothly.
OK Clinton Supporters...
Sun Sep 02, 2007 at 03:49:19 PM PDT
Ok, this is primarily for Clinton supporters - though anyone, of course, can chime in.
Who does she pick as a Running Mate? And why?
I am asking with Regards to Clinton, because she is the Frontrunner in many polls. I plan to write a similar question for the other Candidates as well - but for today, it is Clinton.
Obama brings closure; and I bring a request.
Sat Sep 01, 2007 at 04:35:43 PM PDT
I am a very vocal supporter of Barack Obama. I posted this as a response to another Diary and I was requested to use this as the basis for a new Diary. I also have a request at the end for anyone who strongly supports what I have to say regarding the upcoming Primaries.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
During the upcoming 2008 election, we as Americans can feel very proud of our candidates. All of the candidates bring someting to the table. Every One Of Them. Even Romney, who's haircut hypnotizes me too. Even Paul, who would never actually want to live in the world he describes. Even Huckabee, who would ... well I don't know.. and I'm scared to find out - he might have me lose weight. But Obama brings something to the table which none of the others can even talk about. Something we aren't supposed to talk about. He brings closure.
